Waddya Want?

More of the Cat, these ones from the winter that I never posted for no particular reason.

This is typical in trying to put together a Cat post - even though I am expected to do these from time to time, I still get grief when I try to take the pictures.

Whaddya want? Go away, that camera is in my face. And it’s noisy too. Beat it.

If you ‘ve been  wondering why I am rummaging through my archive rather than posting new pictures, it ‘s mostly because I  have not been taking too many that I can show you. I  have shot a lot the last few weeks, in fact with video and stills I have added about 100gb to my hard drive contents. These are all documentary shots of a project that I am helping out with – my contribution is  to photo and video it, and to share some of my experience too, as needed.  I am not free to share those pictures just yet, but will do a post or two on the project when it can see the light of day.

Canon 5DMkii, Canon 50mm/f1.4 lens, ISO1000, f1.4, 1/400th.

    • Thanks David! The middle one has the most attitude. I have not tried to take pictures of a black cat, but occasionally one sees some good ones, probably mostly accidents. If only they would sit still while you arranged lighting ….

    • Thank you Paula. This is pretty much as animated as She gets when I am taking pictures. Normally its a bored, single slitty eye (for She is nearly always asleep) telling me enough is enough with that loud DSLR. If I must take photos, surely I could use the point and shoot, or put the camera in quiet mode.

  1. It’s no hardship for us to see more Cat photos. Matter of fact, I love ‘em. Keep them coming (although I can hear Emo in the next room crying for some attention).
