Breakwater Relaxation
Ogden Point breakwater is a great place to contemplate the surrounding depths, or watch passersby. You can see the various charms of the breakwater in earlier posts here.
This is another shot from a couple of weekends ago when fellow blogger Melinda Green Harvey came for a visit. I highly recommend her blog (click on her highlighted name to get there).

Thank you David – that man standing there just made the whole shot for me.

Pretty sure he’s thinking, “if only I had my scuba gear…”
Thanks for the shout-out.

Somehow that seems like a good guess to me what with diver’s bubbles all over the place.
But what about the woman? She sat there the whole time we were there but did not appear intetested any one thing.

She was probably anxious for us to (finally) leave so she could enjoy a people-free view.

Probably. But not much hope of people-free on such a nice day. I don’t think I have ever seen it more busy – the railings have made a very big difference in how much it is used.

I looked back at your older shots of the pre-railings breakwater, which I liked better than the way it is now. And not just because of fewer people (although that IS a big plus) but because it was so stark.

Totally agree. Esthetically the railings are a disaster. Socially a huge success.
