Lost Tuft
This is either the Lost Islands (off Kunga Island) (map link), or Tuft Island just to the south off Windy Bay (map link) in Gwaii Haanas.
Seen while cruising on the Passing Cloud.

too elevated to be the Lost Islands, which I remember from indeed being lost in the vicinity during a storm in ´99.

Hi John – thanks for sharing your knowledge. I should be in the area again next summer and if lucky will sort out which of the several islands this is that are along the west edge of Hecate Strait.

Yes! Tuft is such a good name for these islands, as is Lost when it comes down to it, though I suspect Tuft is named for a person, not the way it seems.
