Grass Drops
When I watered the neighbour’s garden last summer I spent some time taking pictures. This blade of grass has dew on it, not water from my own efforts to keep drought at bay. This is the garden on the other side of Ruby’s gate from my own backyard. I have previously posted pictures on this topic here and here and here.
It’s stormy out tonight, and cold so it cheered me when I came across this summer photo and I thought I would share that cheer with you as well.

One of the first things I noticed was the reflections, I just love what you find in reflections! Striking composition here, well captured.

Thank you David – I agree about reflections – especially these tiny ones that you can’t see until you enlarge the image. Same with drops acting as tiny lenses and displaying something further away.

I love the blue water droplets, probably a reflection of the sky, against the dark background. It gives this a bit more energy.

hi ken – I think they are a reflection of the sky, it was awfully blue there for a while in August, seems like an aeon since then, now that we under the gray skies of November.
