Drain’s End

Another in my seemingly endless series on the Ross Bay Storm Drain. It has a been a while since I posted one, so I don’t feel too bad doing it yet again.

This view is the very end of the drain structure. I took it last night after dinner in rapidly failing light; a very blue light. The swells nearly crested the top of the drain a couple of times, and at others squirted up through this circular lid, though I did not get a picture of that. I was glad I did not get wet feet. I like the encrustation of marine life, mostly on the mortared cracks in the concrete.

You can find the other storm drain pictures through this link.
