Acute Angles IV

More in the series from a house I photographed on a recent trip.
When I saw Melinda Green Harvey’s image of a corner in a stair well a couple of weeks ago, it made me wonder if there is a stairwell like that in this house.

There seems to be a processing glitch on the right of the picture, in the leafy area – bleached out rectangle. – or am I seeing things.

Hi Val – what you are seeing is a concrete pad in front of the carport/garage. Newish concrete, and thus quite bright.

Like a ship in the forest.

Yes! That reminds me, I have a photo from the Classic Boat Festival I had meant to post which is a lot like this.

This looks like that corner I saw, before the stairs were built…..

I suspect the light on this one is nicer though, at least much of the time. It would be interesting to see it wet in the rain.

I think the light on your find is always better than on mine: mine was a stairwell at a shopping center, and is mostly artificially lit.
I agree that this house you found would be interesting to see in the rain. I really like the shots of it that you’ve posted; do you have nay idea who the architect was?

I like it too. I don’t know who the architect is – the owner said no need to give credit so I never got that information (which normally I would give since credit is due on this one).
