Acute Angles V

The final image in a series from a house I photographed on a recent trip.
The angle is not evident in this image, but it is one side of the wall pictured in the previous photograph in this series.

I like this, it has a very intimate feel.

Thank you, intimate is not a word I would have chosen, but I see what you mean. The first shot of this wall had a friend in it – he has his daughter on his shoulders, walking by. It was a nice shot, but not very interesting compared to the shadows on the wall by themselves.

Clever contrast and composition.

Thanks Andy. An unusual scene to find “in nature” which seemed worthy of an unusual treatment.

Canon / /Nikon ? heinous crime from both points of view 🙂
Love the image..

I know David, it is a terrible mixing – but just think, if they could breed they might produce a real competitor though perhaps more likely they would end up with the worst of each and it would be a bit of a dog.
I put Takumar lenses on the Canon too. It’s one of the reasons I got a camera with a full frame sensor – so that I could recycle my old film lenses at the same focal length. And buy some affordable second had glass.

It’s black and white AND color at the same time. GREAT!

Thanks Ken. Your comment made me realise I have no idea what I did during processing this image a couple of weeks ago. I had to go and check the history. I pulled the blues down, and changed the contrast on the left side, which makes it more monotone that it was, though not much. And I boosted the yellows and oranges on the right side. Glad you like it!

Daring contrasts there, but I think it works

Thanks Val – I am glad you think it works. It was one of those ideas that came out of nowhere during processing.
