Residential Industrial
This house is really very industrial in its feel. It does reflect the sunset nicely, but to me sends a message that the house is not very friendly. It just seems a bit harsh, even when nicely lit. Not even birds are welcome.

Fabulous light in that colour shot – it’s all about the colour. By comparison the B&W shot looks dead – one would never had guessed at the quality or tone of the light that the conversion has removed.

Hi Andy. The second shot angle removed nearly of the quality of the light – even so, it is probably a better shot in colour, but the angle was so highly reflective that the small bit of the house lit by the setting sun was shiny rather than yellow, if you know what I mean. Still, I should post the colour version. It does however give a better sense of what the building looks like most of the time!

I totally fell in love with it in the first photo, but with the second one I understand what you mean, it doesn’t look very friendly. What a little sunlight can do, eh?

Hi there. I totally agree – the right kind of sunlight can make pretty much anything interesting to look at.
