A Pipe to Nowhere
Another example of why it can be rewarding to look up narrow alleys can be a good thing, especially when you don’t have a fish-eye lens to capture the side walls straight on.
This one is between two very old buildings at the Johnson Street Bridge landing on Wharf Street.

Thanks David. These buildings are nearly derelict, but recently purchased and I think about to be renovated. I hope it will be tasteful and some of the grotty bits will somehow survive the design team.

I have looked at that piece of pipe before but never thought to take a picture of it. Cool composition.

Thanks Joseph. It is a nice bit of pipe, just stuck on the wall.

Yes, I don’t think it is nice but it obviously after your looking at it has graphic yahoo.

I agree Joseph, the pipe is not really nice. But it is nicely arranged on that wall. It makes me nervous to stand under it, who knows when those straps will finish rotting through?
