Looks like this island in Mount Douglas Park is over-populated.
While Melinda Green Harvey was focused on driftwood, my gaze turned to the white seagulls, and wavelets.

Sometimes gulls make me smile too, though sometimes not, such as when they are practicing their aerial bombing. These ones were feeling lazy and did not lift off even though we got quite close.
