Figurative, by Request
I had a request for something more figurative and less abstract. So here it is.
This shop assistant kindly posed for me wearing these right angle glasses.
They were in the case with some old cameras, but we found them much more interesting than the cameras.
The glasses have mirrors in them so when you wear them you look at your feet.
We decided that they were likely worn to prevent neck ache when working at a bench all day, but really that was guessing.
They are not in the case anymore, I think someone spend the $15 and bought them – perhaps they knew what these are for.
Or otherwise had a use for them.
This is one of the few times I have found the courage to ask a stranger if I can take a picture. I should do it more often, it works.

it’s a nice diversion from the “squares and lines” to a “squares and smile 🙂

Hi Alexandra! I do try to mix things up around here but occassionally get in a groove. Or rut.

People shots are always interesting if they make you wonder – what is she thinking, what is she like…. This young woman thinks its fun to have her photo taken wearing funny glasses. So what if her hairs all over the place. She doesnt take herself too seriously.

Thanks Val. We had an amusing conversation and it was very nice of her to agree to a photo.
