While learning how to use a new work camera last  summer I came across this sign in the gravel outside the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Which prompted me to look at their website to see if it was their Jubilee, which indeed it was and still is.

We spent a lot of time at this place with our growing kids that were interested in music, and we spanned the move from their old and crumbling building near Beacon Hill Park to a large former church complex on Quadra and Pandora Streets – not the best part of town, but the facility was a huge improvement. They did a good job teaching music – one of our kids is making his living solely from music since before he turned 20.
