I agree with Ken – there is a dynamism in those contrasting lines and textures in that last shot. Nice find.

Hi Andy, thanks for your comment. As I said to Ken below, it is helpful to get this opinion on an image I was suddenly having doubts about. I do wish there was a line of plain blocks at the top above the ridge ones, or a solid edge of some kind, but in fact there was a metal railing that did not do the trick at all.

The first shot is really nice but the last one is the most exciting to me. Tones, textures and shapes are very interesting to me and the diagonal line of blocks gives it a bit more energy.

Thanks Ken. That was the one I started with, and very nearly put it up on its own. But, I doubted it for some reason, lack of self confidence probably, and ended up demoting it in the post (I nearly took it out altogether). So, you comment, and the one above are really good to have as they reaffim my initial impression about the shot.
