Tide Pool Sunset II

Rocky tide pool 1

Another sunset reflecting in a tide-pool taken this past weekend. This pool is a bit east from the first one that I showed, and the sunset has progressed to a nice glow.

    • I think we sort of do – one of the purposes of HDR is to catch that dynamic range that the brain lets us see by piecing together what we see. Though in the more extreme contrasts the brain is not too good at it. Graduated tint sunglasses would go a long way to getting the same effect in a location like this one.
But those goggles sound like a good idea. They could be set to extreme HDR effects, or natural, depending on one’s mood.
