Grave Water
I guess these taps are for filling flower vases, and watering the lawns in Ross Bay Cemetery. I don’t suppose the occupants get thirsty often enough to warrant stand-pipes.

I will be quite busy the next few days, so if I am slow getting back to your comments that is why, with apologies.

I like the humour of this, Ephem. Wonderfully textured.

Thanks Karen – I like the thick layered paint textures in this shot. I also find that the G15’s bokeh is interesting – quite different from other cameras that I have used.

It’s that colour again – Yellow! Brings a nice burst of colour to a place that it is so often all grey and understandable gloom. Well spotted.

Thanks Andy – glad you like it. We had a couple of deeply grey days this week, more akin to the Vancouver region than what we expect in Victoria. Spots of colour like this make a lot of difference on such days.

Ha! I am not surprised.
Some of the tap sets have yellow on both taps, this one has obviously been repaired since they were last painted. I think it is more interesting photo with just one of them yellow though.

Nice old-fashioned plumbing fixrures. Will make the occupants feem more at home.

Good thought Val. They do seem very fitting (so to speak).
