Laundry on the Line

These Hitty under-clothes were on the ironing board this morning, seemingly hanging on the shadow of the clothes line.
They are so small, and the shadow so large that the scene took on an abstract feel, and a camera was called for.

Love those Hitty undergarments, especially the stitching on the chemise!

Hi Erin – thanks for the comment. There is a lot of very skilled sewing practised in this house, and the Hittys benefit very much. If you follow the link above you will see many more examples, and even some instructions in making different kinds of clothing for dolls, and so on. If you use the search box on that blog and search for sewing it will get you to many examples.

Hi Jane, welcome to my blog and thanks for the follow!. I have been admiring your door pictures recently, so it is great to have a link to your blog and find pictures that are quite local to my area, like the Hoh rainforest. I must go back for a visit.

Eugenia was lucky to not float away with the tide. I hope she is all dried out now. She left her underwear lying around in a charming arrangement in any case.
