Angled Cloud

IMG_1029-Edit-4

More from the wonderful sunset I have featured a couple of times (here  and here) in the past week – the sunset which occurred at the same time as  the moon rise shown here.  I was taken by the way the shrubs in the foreground were parallel to the clouds in the sky – and yes, this is shot level to the ground.

These are another example of images that could be combined to good effect.

  1. Great point of view on these. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the second image. It’s a great image and a viewpoint not many photographers would consider.

    • Thanks Ken – it is a toss up for me. I think I would like a combined image with both the foreground and clouds in focus. But I do like the clean vegetation edge in the second shot, and the blaze of colour behind.

    • Hey! What a nice surprise – a message all the way from Finland. Hope your trip is going really well, and that even with constant daylight, you get to sleep sometimes.
