Deer Fence VI

IMG_4639

The penultimate deer mesh post. This group is all about the light in patches of dew on the nasturtium leaves. A top-down view of a similar setting was in yesterday’s post. All of these shots are very similar, and yet they each have their own interesting differences in the details. I could not choose between them (though I think I like the first one the best, at the time of writing), so I just threw a bunch in. Hope you don’t mind! (There are quite a few others so, really, I am showing some restraint!)

  1. This series is a good example of why we should always have a camera with us, isn’t it?

Also – that first shot looks like a handful of diamonds. Or, to be more precise since I’ve not actually ever seen a handful of diamonds, what I imagine a handful of diamonds to look like.

    • Thanks Melinda. I agree about the camera A camera with a macro capability would be a good idea. The new one I am contemplating for my carry around much of the time camera does not have a macro lens, though that is only because I chose that configuration. Maybe I should rethink that. And, I will be able to adapt my FD lenses to it, one of which is a macro, so I should be OK if I care to carry those with me.
