Coho Handrail

Another photo in the Coho ferry series, taken on the way to Port Angeles and the Olympic Peninsula last July.
The last time I posted about the Coho it was a set of heavily processed images, this time the image is straight from the camera, other than a bit of sharpening done as a preset on all my RAW images on upload as well as a lens profile correction preset which for this lens removes some vignetting.

Really interesting composition Mr E. I’m not sure why but it reminds me of something from my childhood. I think it is the clowns that swivel with the open mouths that you pop balls into at carnivals. Not sure why that is conjured up by this image!

You have a terrific imagination Kate. I am not sure I would want to live in it, but I sure like how you see the world 🙂

Hmm, back handed compliment, I guess?? 😊😊

I love your imagination! But, you wouldn’t want me in there either, you have enough going on that you don’t need any amplification. 🙂

Okay I understand now! Amplification! That sounds like fun. Your imagination and my imagination can blend any time. Please don’t see any weird connotations in that! 😊😊😅

I think they do blend in the comments sections of our blogs, from time to time. Nothing weird at all!

Nice minimalism, Ehpem.

Thanks Ashley! I think it works OK, but must have launched this one on a day when people were otherwise occupied, or else very few people agree with us.

The paint looks to be an inch thick here. I like that. The rail has that well maintained, beautiful graceful curve to it.

Hi Ken – thanks! I like that too. The whole ferry looks like it is carrying a few tons of dry paint spread around these kinds of surfaces.
