On Guard II

In the summer I posted a black and white shot of this same subject in Port Angeles, Washington. I think I like that one’s point of view best, but the gold paint certainly adds something that is missing from my first post. It ramps up the kitsch factor, if nothing else.

  1. Hmm! What am I supposed to read into an elephant on the roof? Eco-aware, heavy footed, endangered species? I’ve only had one small glass of wine, time for another. And you’ve given me an idea for a Post…

    • An idea? I wait to see if I can spot it.
I have no idea how do-it-self flooring and cupboards are sold by having a gilded elephant on the roof. It makes zero sense to me. But I am neither in the business, nor in the market for flooring or cupboards. And frankly, my work is rife with elephants – mind you they are in the room, not on the roof, so maybe that makes a difference.
