I looked at this image several times before I notice that this wall is all doors.
What I want to know now is where is #1?

Maybe you need to go around to the back of this one, too. Seriously, those are fabulous colors – wow, and you framed it all perfectly. Such a contrast between the lushness of the colors and the deadpan subject matter.

Lynn, I had not thought to go around the back here because it is already around the back of somewhere else. But you are right, I should (and shall). There might be a broken chair or two, and some cigarette butts arranged artfully (this is not sarcasm, but hope).
My “look around back” sensibilities were taught me by my friend Melinda Green Harvey who makes the most of a habit of looking around back. If you aren’t familiar with her work, you might want to browse her blog(s) some time. http://wp.me/p1eZOQ-16Wl

The colour is what attracted me. It does convert quite nicely to black and white too, though is a very different photograph. Perhaps I’ll post a conversion too.

Hi Val – I think that is it. Maybe I did not capture #1 because the shutter got a hole burned in it.
