Snow Moon
In sympathy with other places where snow has accumulated to inconvenient depths.
This was from December when we had a few hours of snow.
Hand held at Clover Point in Victoria.

Olympus mjuii, Fuji Superia 400, developed and scanned commercially

Beautiful, captures the whole feel of winter

Thanks Valerie – often night is a good time to photograph snow, though faster film would be a good idea.

Great image! We’ve (Southwest Michigan) been hit pretty hard this year with snow. I’m not enjoying it. Great blog though.

Thanks for the comment. We almost never get much snow, but when conditions are right with cold outflow winds from the interior combining with a pineapple express we can get clobbered. My rafters broke in 1996 when we had a meter (39″) in less than 24 hours, and then it got wet and heavy.
