Inland Air is used to transport passengers to and from the Passing Cloud.
Here one of their De Havilland Beavers is seen taking off after a delivery, between the Limestone Islands (map link) just south of K’uuna (Skedans) north of the Gwaii Haanas boundary.
The morning view from the Passing Cloud while sharing the Heater Harbour anchorage with Amelie, registered in Jersey and a member of the RDYC, which ever yacht club that is.

A very low tide in Burnaby Narrows (Dolomite Narrows on the chart) which has a wonderful density of intertidal and subtidal life.
This is the Passing Cloud in Heater Harbour early one morning.
Heater Harbour is on Kunghit Island just east and south of Rose Harbour in Gwaii Haanas.

One common site from the Passing Cloud when we were in more exposed waters were birds creating and feasting on “bait balls”.
In this case Rhinoceros Auklets swimming underwater were driving small fish into a tight ball near the surface.
Many species of bird, and sometimes a whale, would be drawn to the ball of fish, including many bald eagles who (more…)
