Rasta Curb
I don’t know about anyone else, but my nostrils twitch at the imagined smell of weed when I look at this bit of curb.
Around here a red curb denotes a bus stop, and yellow a no parking zone. These two zones have been freshly painted and on a wet day like this was they really vibrate along the edge of the street.
On a walk yesterday the yellow curbs, signs, leaves and much more really caught my eye due to their saturated look in the rain. I decided to do a one day project of photographs that include something yellow located no more than about 10 feet from the street edge. This is the first in that series – I thought I would start it off with a bang, and hope not to fizzle too rapidly.

Thank you. I am very pleased with this shot. You might not know it from looking at my work, but I am really drawn to simple geometrics of solid colour and variations. Like some of the architecture photos from modern buildings in parts of Europe. I could do with more subjects like that around here.

Thank you David. Funny how things sometimes visually yell a demand to be photographed.

Thanks Ken. This is probably the best of them, but there are some other interesting shots that I really like.
