Johnson and Cook XVI

Pavement reflection 3

Black and whites in my series at the corner of Johnson and Cook Streets. Puddle reflections, with one context shot at the bottom.

In the picture below there is a curious, and interesting, optical illusion as if the triangular bit of side-walk is raised quite a bit above the rest of the scent, when in fact they are very nearly level.

    • Hi Ryan! Thanks for the comment. Dissolving is a good word for that, the cracks in the pavement and paint rather like the reflected branches.

    • Thanks Ken. It’s my favourite too. I played around with the crop quite a bit until I had something that worked well.

Important or otherwise, this parking lot often seems to be not very full. Maybe they are so important that they get a spot even though they only work one day a week, or something.
