Diagonal VI

Toba Inlet shoreline, from a helicopter, part of the diagonal series.

Last friday my work took me on a helicopter ride well up the valley at the head of the Toba Inlet. I could not resist a few diagonal shots.

I was trying to photograph the white edge of the tidal zone. I think the top picture represents that best, but I like all these.

    • Hi Laurie – I had never been there before by any mode of transport so it was a delight to do so, especially on a sunny day (everywhere else was fog bound). I was very surprised at the vessel that we came across moored at the head of the inlet. Perhaps you know what it is, but if not, then you will have to wait for another post on another day!

    • I am thinking that the Research Director of One Day | One Image is in a good bargaining position right now.

But as I said, two empty seats first leg, you could get as far as logging camp and then cool your jets while we continued up into the mountains. If there is a next time, which seems highly unlikely.
