Drain Sunrise IV

IMG_8320

This is part of the series of storm drain sunrise pictures, looking over the top of the storm drain which you can’t see – you will just have to imagine it. Or go to this post to see it with this same cloud in the background. I don’t know about you, but this cloud looks like it could crush a large ship should one pass beneath it. It kind of looks like it is waiting for such a ship.

Click on this link to see (possibly too) many other shots of the storm drain.

    • Thanks Andy! Oppressive is the word I was groping for, and never found. I was out at the same spot this morning, but the sea was slate grey and the clouds lighter grey and not much definition in anything. It is wonderful how it changes all the time. I took some pictures and the camera is sitting close (ish) to the wood stove drying out. Me too.

    • A tourist mecca! Victoria does have a bit more to offer than this!
That black line is great. This shot is one of the brackets I was shooting but it needed no treatment other than a touch of sharpening and clarity to the raw file. Very pleasing when a shot comes out of the camera so well!
