Something Colourful
Even on a rainy and grey day there is something colourful to draw the eye.
These shots are along Dallas Road area of Beacon Hill Park, taken a few months ago. The shot below is a companion to this one that appeared in Dirtgazing around the time that I took it.

Beautiful!!! Love the use of cones… ok, I love cones, but this photo is just beautiful!

Thanks so much Mark. I am glad you like it, I was happy with it too, but uncertain if that was just my quirky taste so I am glad to find that even if quirky, I am not alone.

Not quirky, really good minimalist beauty! 🙂

This “rain” you mention is not something we get around here, but it looks pleasant enough. Nice photos, too.

Some rain would be nice – we are under extreme fire conditions because of a long drought.

She gets dust storms instead. Which make for great photos and ruined cameras.

Rain is pleasant, but cold, relentless, dark rain for days on end is another matter. Glad you like the pictures though.

Rain for DAYS ON END? That’s a thing?
Once – and this was a long time ago, so my memory may be fuzzy – we had rain for minutes on end.

I like the boldness and simplicity of the middle one. You have chosen an angle that shows the bend in the white line, giving it a nice shape like a hockey stick. It would make good flag for the paralympics.

Thanks Val. When I took these shots I thought I liked best the one that is on Dirtgazing, but this one has grown on me and I prefer it now, because of the white line.
