Grandchild 9
A couple of days ago I went for a walk with my daughter and granddaughter. All three of us walked a long block to the cafe at Fairfield Market, where us adults had our noses wiped and otherwise were taken care of by the youngest. Then she was slung onto her mother and we continued on to Ross Bay Cemetery, where she got back on her own legs.
My granddaughter is at the climbing stairs age, and stone grave surrounds make especially fun places to climb. I suspect that the vast majority of the underground residents would be pleased at the clambering and joy of a one year old above; and those that would not, in life likely were dour and humourless. She also has been practising her dance moves. All in all a very nice couple of hours out with the girls.

Hi littleislander – she is a very cute little kid, and it is a joy to watch her dance. She seems to be full of music and rhythm.
