    • Thanks Andy – I like how it came out, and the light was stunning for that trip – though when flying over the ocean and islands it was solid fog much of the way.

    • Hi Sam – you have mention Scaylea before and I was very pleased to learn about him from that comment. And, he has taken a lot of photos that are better than any of mine, including this one. But thanks for the compliment – I appreciate it!

    • Thanks Mario – I like how it came out too.

I used Topaz B&W Effects – it is one of the presets, but I tweaked it a bit as well. I am pretty sure I did it via the Toned Collection with Sepia and Selenium III present. (I sure wish Topaz would add this kind of info somehow to the metadata…)

    • Thanks Mitch! There was quite a lot of processing necessary as I did not have the focus I wanted – the lens could not cope with the movement and on manual I somehow jarred it off the infinity setting for a bunch of shots. So this is a bit of a recovery project, but I like how it came out. Shooting through the curved front window of the helicopter was another issue too…
