Thanks Andy – I like how it came out, and the light was stunning for that trip – though when flying over the ocean and islands it was solid fog much of the way.

Thanks Mario – I like how it came out too.
I used Topaz B&W Effects – it is one of the presets, but I tweaked it a bit as well. I am pretty sure I did it via the Toned Collection with Sepia and Selenium III present. (I sure wish Topaz would add this kind of info somehow to the metadata…)

Thanks Mitch! There was quite a lot of processing necessary as I did not have the focus I wanted – the lens could not cope with the movement and on manual I somehow jarred it off the infinity setting for a bunch of shots. So this is a bit of a recovery project, but I like how it came out. Shooting through the curved front window of the helicopter was another issue too…

I can imagine the havoc you had to deal with in post; I’ve had some of those myself. Nonetheless, I love the light in this shot!
