Bin There
This was shot from a recessed door entry early one morning. The location was the entrance to my office for years, so I have been here many times.
I was going to take this picture without a person since I liked the shadow from the rubbish bin, and the nice car over the way.
But someone walked through the picture, gave me the idea it would be better and so I waited for a likely subject to come by.
This was taken with an Olympus XA on colour film, and converted to black and white in Lightroom 5.

Thank you Andy – it was one of those titles that just popped into my head. Helps to have lived in the UK, since around here they are referred to as ‘cans’ most often. I was glad to get a person in this one as it enhances the shadow of the bin rather than detracting from it.
