Hi Alexandra – thanks for commenting. I am glad you are enjoying the series. One more coming tomorrow, then it will likely be a while. Though in fact there is a roll of film being processed and I forget what is on it, so there may be more coming sooner than later.

I’m really enjoying this series. This one look especially nice in black and white.

Thanks Ken – the colour was quite disappointing so I did not even bother to include it. There is one more to come, from this version of the series. I expect more will show up on other rolls of film in the future.

How much editing has been done on this shot?

Hi Yvonne – the main thing was a black and white conversion – I did not like the colour all that much. Lots of spot removal as there was a lot of debris on the pavement, and dust on the negative. A small crop to straighten the image a bit, and in the black and white conversion various tweaks of brightness, shadow, contrast and clarity. Sounds like a lot, but most of the time was spent on spot removal (which I see I did not quite finish, it was so tiresome) – the rest was 4 or 5 minutes of fiddling.
