Waiting
I saw these benches while waiting for the Seattle-Victoria Clipper service to disgorge an important visitor. That visitor is Melinda of photo-blogging fame.
We have been taking pictures together for the past two days. We have driven all over southern Vancouver Island, getting wind-blasted on beaches and poking around in forests.
We are having a lot of fun, and there are still a couple of days to go. I am shooting mostly digital while she is here, at least while we were on a road trip. Around town I will shoot some film too.

Well, in the CRD it is illegal to smoke within 3m of the entrance to a building. Since this is part of the border crossing, I suspect that the down and outs stay clear as many of them don’t have much love of a uniform.
