I photographed a wedding rehearsal the other day.
This is my favourite shot.
Which perhaps tells us all more than we should know.

Thanks Mark. I don’t think the bride thought that way, but what the heck, eh?

I’ve shot weddings, brides pretty much only care about looking good themselves… ugg! It is “their day” though.

Yup. I pretty much only do it for friends as wedding gifts. Loads of work, high expectations/needs. Not much fun, but a nice gift.

I’ve done the same for close friends. 🙂

Your comment made me laugh! And, if I had to shoot a wedding (or a wedding rehearsal), I’d get distracted and shoot chair shadows too.

Thanks Melinda! It’s OK at the rehearsal, less acceptable to be distracted at the wedding. I did shoot the wedding too, and tried not to be distracted though the bride had all the shots planned out in her mind and kept me moving right along with no real chance for distraction. She is the daughter of close friends that I have known her entire life so it was a pleasure to be able to help out. And interesting to try to take some of the kinds of shots that she wanted.
