The wooden blinds in this room were casting shadows upwards.
The house was not flying, and there is not a water pool out the window, so this was a bit unexpected.
So vivid that I was distracted from the message of safety.
This was taken not long before my granddaughter and her family moved out of town, a few months ago now.
We had leftover poppy seed challah which was a bit stale, but perfect for French toast.
My granddaughter was very helpful. She balanced herself on a chair, with the help of her nose.
The phone was to hand, and is responsible for the photos.
As I said in Ross Bay Sunset months ago, I was wishing I had a different camera with me when I came on this sunset.
That earlier post shows ta picture I took on film with an Olympus XA2.
This is one of the camera phone shots I took at the same time.
I had adequate cameras after all.
This image brings together several recent shots, including Vivid, Starlight and Aspire II.
You can see just what a treasure trove this location is.
A blind alley, horrid orange stripe, badly decaying mural, ancient brick work, looming Catholicism – all crammed together into one small spot.
The Roman Catholic cathedral shows up from many angles downtown.
See, for instance, my earlier post Aspire.
This is the first time I saw it from this angle though.
This is the same alley shown yesterday.
I love window reflections of sunlight on other buildings.
This star of light was cast early in the morning.
Caught on my phone.
See my About page for details.
