Here are a couple of shots of a mural made while walking to and from the photo workshop with Sam Abell in February.
A couple of months ago I had a short layover in Esquimalt on my way up island.
I took my camera around back of various buildings, in case there were interesting things to see.
Or, as in this case, somewhat boring things.
This is another view of the photographer on the Santa Monica pier that I previously showed from the side (here).
This is not as interesting a photograph as the other, but at least you can see what she was photographing so intently.
This is another shot from the first (and so far only) test roll through a Yashica T4.
The Gonzales Observatory has shown up on this blog a lot over the years.

This is the iconic Canadian painter Emily Carr’s grave in Ross Bay cemetery.
It is a magnet for offerings – all manner of faux spiritual goodies, offered to what I don’t know.
Sadly, the offerings just turn to rubbish and desecrate her grave.
This photos was made with Earle‘s Lomo LC-A+ RL during a camera swap we did on a rainy day in February.
