Back in the spring I ran a series of photos taken on a walk on Mayne Island.
Looking back at the scans, I see there are others that warrant a showing, like this clump of moss and tree detritus.
This is another of my posts from 52 Rolls. Here I am playing catchup with a selection of frames from 5 rolls of film all shot with an Olympus XA2, one of my favourite point and shoot cameras. It includes pictures from several parts of Vancouver Island. Click on the link at the bottom to see 30 more photographs.
Since I stopped regular posting I have shot another 5 rolls through an Olympus XA2. This post has a selection of shots that I like from those 5 rolls, some of these and quite a few others have showed up on my blog over the past few months. Film details can be seen in the captions in the gallery below. These samples comprise my Rolls 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26.

This is another shot from Heriot Bay on Quadra Island.
I very much like the longer boat which looks well crafted, even if in need of bailing.
I also like the hand crafted oars in the smaller boat – the blades look like they are cut from a plastic barrel or float.
They look highly functional.
This is my attempt to get back into my 52 Rolls project. I have been shooting film all along, just have not been able to post at 52Rolls.net. Maybe I can squeeze them into the last 6 weeks, but that seems like a long shot. Most of these photos have been seen around here, but not for months, so enjoy them once again by clicking through to the original post!
Or more accurately, Long Time No Post. Since I last posted my Roll 18 in April I have been working out of town quite a bit, busy with work at home and otherwise occupied. That doesn’t mean I have not been shooting film, and usually shooting at least a roll per week, though perhaps there have been a couple of week gaps. I am up to about 60 rolls this year. I got a new computer this summer, and in the doing I somehow lost or overwrote my Lightroom catalogue for scanned film so that has set me back a bit too.
Quite a bit of what I have shot has appeared on my blog over that time. So, by way of catching up a bit around here I will select a few shots from multiple rolls per post – film and camera info will be found in the captions…

A while back I posted (here, here and here) photos of the vinyl records that have been used as siding on part of the Heriot Bay Inn on Quadra Island.
Here is another one, taken this summer on film.

Do you suppose the Cortes Crystal Kids heed cautions?
Whoever they are?
