Toba Textures II

A slightly longer view of the canopy textures than I previously posted in my series of aerial shots from my flight up the Toba River.

The colour of the glacial melt water goes very well with the muted fall colours that predominate in this area.

    • Hi Vincent – thanks for commenting and welcome to my blog! For me these are the fall colours of the coast – those oranges and yellows are not natural in this area, except in very small pockets.

    • Hi Toad. You would have loved this flight up the Toba – we ascended into the fog from Campbell River – straight up into a “blue” patch which did not look different to me, then flew over the top of the fog to Cortes Island where we picked up another passenger, then up the valley. It was beautiful above the fog – such a nice day. On the way back, I got put down at a friends house on Read Island, in their backyard. The chickens freaked out, of course, and the dogs were not happy.
