Grandchild 7

My granddaughter will be 11 months old in a few days. Hard as it is for me to believe that she is that old, soon she will be counting her own age, and we all will be reckoning it in years, not weeks and months. I could not choose between this series of photos from a few days ago, so I made a slide show out of them. They show some of her character and constant motion.
.
If you want to embiggen a photo in the slide show, right-click the image and choose open in a new tab, and go have a look!

Ohhh, #4 cracked me up!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks David. That one IS funny. It can be read as “enough now, and off with you” or as “can I play with that toy too?”. I suspect the latter – the curiosity predominates a lot of interactions with her.

Cracking slideshow, delighted to see how nicely she’s growing. Well done the parents.

Definitely a photogenic cutie!!! I like the neutral background, too. It’s very appropriate for a nice portrait.

Thanks Ken. I agree about the background. For the shot that is more in the hallway I masked the background and darkened it considerably to simplify it, and then I encouraged her to move over a bit so I could have a simpler task in post!

She looks so much like her mom…and her grandpa. Great photos!

Thanks Beth – there is a strong family resemblence – much of it comes through my mother’s side of the family, there are pictures of her when young that are indistinguishable from my daughter, and teenage pictures of me that my daughter thought were of her.
