Torn
If the firmament is paved, then this is very likely a tear, a glimpse of the other side.
And if it is, then we also know that rollerblading and skating boarding on the firmament is strictly forbidden.
It was a rainy grey morning again yesterday, so monochrome seemed to make quite a bit of sense.

I looked at that first image and I read the first line – and I looked again. I had a UFO moment – surreal. Your eye was on top form capturing these, Ehpem

Hi Andy. A UFO moment! That is great :). I have a bit of a thing about reflections in small puddles, but I have not tried a very shallow depth of field focussed on the reflection before, or at least not on purpose. I like the effect. I probably will take more – after all, what else is there to do on wet grey days?

Huddle by an open fire is my favourite occupation – it’s the closest I get to Hibernation!

I’m “torn” between these two but if I have to pick one I’m not going to do it.

I like the first one better due to the soft focus of the foreground which gives a bit of a feel of sky and clouds, or something else far away and poorly defined.

I like them both. Great!!

Thank you Malin. I do too, but if I had to choose, it would be easy to pick the first one.
