Half-frame Stripes
More images shot in January with the Olympus Pen on two different rolls of film. Even so, they go remarkably well together. Above is the front and back of a park bench on Clover Point.
Below is the board and batten wall of the Angler’s boat house on Clover Point.

These are more from my series of half-frame photos from the Olympus Pen. These are all adjacent shots on the film-strip, taken multiple frames in order to scan as single images. Click on the photos to see them much larger.

I like the way these pairs seem to lead my eye into a distant void.

Thank you Melinda! The second set is particularly good at pulling the eye in. I have another one taken more recently that I will post soonish – it has curved edges and feels even more like a void, or well, or perhaps an unfathomable eye.

Well, then, I am anxious for “soonish” to arrive. And also, I think “An unfathomable eye” would be an excellent title for the post.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like to have puns in my titles, but rarely think of them in time.
