Grandchild 10
My daughter and granddaughter have spent a lot of time at our place the last days, in preparation for a big event.
Keeping the little one happy involves all kinds of activities, but the best standby for when she is verging on cranky are raspberries.
Yesterday she was a raspberry eating machine.

This really started my day out right! Adorable–great shots and video — or is that time lapse?

Thanks Jane – adorable is the perfect word.
That is a gif format file, but in essence it is a timelapse. There are fewer than 10 images in one of them and probably around 20 in the other. They are combined (I use gimp) as layers and then output as an animated gif. I have fun with them from time to time, but in many ways this is my most successful one.

Hi Katherine – she is growing so big, and becoming so capable. It is a joy to watch. I feel lucky to be able to see her several times a week – when I daughter was born we lived in the UK and our parents barely saw her until we moved back when she was three. They missed most of this fun age – I am glad I get to see it.

Hi Andy. She makes me smile too – and really, that is pretty much what it was like for a long time that day – a well fueled Raspberry Eating Machine.
