Healing March

I went to a march in solidarity with First Nations in Alberta who were marching there as part of efforts to heal the tar sands in their traditional territories.

These photos are taken as the walkers move along Government Street to the inner harbour causeway, centre of the tourist area and onto the Legislative Building where speeches and prayers were made.

I was testing a new project micro 4/3rds camera and ran the battery out. Good thing I had a point and shoot in my pocket.

I sure like how this very small Olympus XA performs.

I am off for several weeks of field research. Which means this blog will slow to a crawl as I won’t have time for it.

There will be answers to comments, but they might be slow in coming. Please comment anyway if you feel moved to it.

Olympus XA, f2.8/35mm lens, Fuji Neopan Acros 100 ISO, f2.8 to f8, various speeds not noted.
