Hi Toad! Thanks so much – I am so glad this shot speaks to you honestly of an environment you know so well. I think it can be easier to get a photo to speak to people that don’t know a place than to those that do.

Thank you Melinda. This is one of those pictures which did not really do it for me, but I thought I would try a conversion anyway. As soon as my preset took hold, I was sold on the photo. Minor tweaks and this is it. I do wonder if it needs to lose a bit off the bottom, or better, if it needed a greater depth of field in the first place. But I am content with it as is, for now.
