Submerged

2016-XA2-002-027

This is a storm drain, but not the storm drain.

This one is in McNeill Bay which is the opposite direction from my daily route.

It was a wonderfully sunny February day, the kind which we always need more of.

    • Hi Kate – this storm drain has a concrete structure at street level and the “pipe” in the photo flows from its base. I could stand on top of the concrete and look down. There is even a railing for safety 🙂

    • Thanks Ashoke – those are the Olympic Mtns in Washington State. The mermaid was sunning on a warm rock at the lighthouse on Trial Island – you can see the light in this photo, but not the mermaid.

    • I think that might be true. I don’t seek them, but I do notice them. I think you will find about 6 of them on these pages if you were to take an inventory.
