I was working on Quadra Island in September, including an excavation inside this rockshelter where we hoped to find a habitation site dating to the early Holocene.
The jury is out on just how ancient our basal deposits are, but we remain optimistic.

Very exciting! I hope the theory proves correct! The trees have a beautiful red colour about them. Is it just the light?
