Another reprise from my early days of blogging.
This is a frosty fall photo from Beacon Hill Park.
The original post is here.
This detail is from a Chas A. Stromberg and Son short scale tenor banjo, or actually a “tango banjo”, which is visiting my house for a while.
This is a detail from the resonator which was made by the Vega banjo company.
Best guess on the age is 1910-1915.
In another post I will go into more detail about this banjo and the helpful sources for dating.
The park bench seems to be a bit of a cliché in the photography world.
So presumable the park bench shadow is also overdone.
That is not stopping me from posting though.
The trail we followed along the shoreline of Mayne Island really is at the water’s edge.
It could be quite exciting to walk along here during a storm.
In the winter when driving along the waterfront on these stormy days, the car is covered with a rime of salt.
Fortunately the accompanying rain washes it off.
Another from the side of a container in old town Victoria.

I have no idea what any of these coloured arrows might refer to, but they are graphically interesting.
See my About page for details.
