Resonator

This detail is from a Chas A. Stromberg and Son short scale tenor banjo, or actually a “tango banjo”, which is visiting my house for a while.

This is a detail from the resonator which was made by the Vega banjo company.

Best guess on the age is 1910-1915.

In another post I will go into more detail about this banjo and the helpful sources for dating.

  Hi Yvonne – “helpful sources for dating” are of enduring interest to an archaeologist. And the older the better in most instances. So that would be running an elder dating site I suppose.
