I fear for the storm drain.
Which is a strange sentence to write, and read, unless you know that the storm drain has become an accidental project of mine.
I pass by its outflow into Ross Bay several times a week and often stop to take pictures.
Those pictures taken over 5 years with many cameras show the drain in a variety of moods and seasons and conditions.
As is all evident from this link to the 100 or so posts I have remembered to tag as ‘storm drain’.

One of my visits to Campbell River in September took me and my granddaughter to this restaurant.
I went thinking I knew exactly what I was getting because I am a regular customer of Baan Thai restaurants in Victoria.
I guess the Honey Lemon Grill subtitle should have been a clue because it was not at all like what I am used to, and not nearly as good I assumed it would be.
I guess there is no connection between the businesses, despite the name.
This is the early morning view from the room I used while working on Quadra Island in September.
It’s my favourite room of the many in this facility due to the windows and view.
I haven’t captured it well, but the sunrising light angling through the tree trunks makes for a stunning view to wake up to.

This piece of wood got dressed up for Halloween in Campbell River, where wood is often dressed up.
To me it seems unlikely that there is a market for used coveralls, but if you need some, then this is your place.
I’d rather have those chairs, but they aren’t for sale.
