Breakwater Stroll
Here is another in my series from the Ogden Point breakwater. You can find out more about the breakwater in my first post of this series. As you can see, its a favourite Victoria walk, in good and bad weather.
You can also see a bit of a very large mural painted in the inner face of the breakwater. It presents aspects of Songhees history – they are Straits Salish First Nation whose traditional territory encompasses much of the Victoria area and adjacent place such as parts of the San Juan Islands. I am planning a post on this mural for the near future.
